Corte Sant'Andrea 1785 - 2020
The Court originated in the 16th century as a Capuchin convent together with the church of Sant'Andrea and the square of Guggiate.
From here it is enough to cross the road to reach the public beach of Bellagio from which it is possible to admire one of the best views of the entire Lake Como.
At the end of the square begins the Derta, a cobbled staircase, the only testimony of the period characterized by the Spanish domination, described by Alessandro Manzoni in his "I Promessi Sposi".
At the end of the 18th century the building was enlarged and used as a residence.
A meticulous renovation carried out in 2020 gave rise to the current Residence.
